GRANTS
Through grants, Yavapai CASA for Kids provides items needed by foster children that are not covered by other sources.
CLOTHING INITIATIVE
CASA for Kids mounts two programs to provide much-needed clothing to children in foster care.
FAMILY VISITING CENTER
When children are removed from their biological parents, it is important that the parents visit their children regularly to maintain the parent-child emotional bond. Because visits are often supervised to ensure the child’s safety, the visits must take place in a public area.
CHRISTMAS GIFTS
Each year, Yavapai CASA for Kids erects trees in local churches and businesses. Community residents take a tag from a tree, purchase an age-appropriate gift or gift certicates, and return it to a box placed next to each tree.
CELEBRATION CARDS
Yavapai CASA for Kids provides gift cards from local stores that are given to children in foster care when they experience a milestone.
ADOPTION EXCHANGE MAILBOX
Yavapai CASA for Kids operates a mailbox for condential letter and gift exchanges between adoptive and biological families.
