As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, Yavapai Casa for Kids Foundation. relies solely upon the generosity and commitment of community members to provide critical services to foster youth; and we gratefully accept your tax-deductible financial and in-kind donations in support of our programs or operating expenses. Donating any amount will help in ways you can't imagine.

Making a financial gift to Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation is one of the best ways to ensure that CASA volunteers can continue to advocate for abused and neglected children. Our goal is to assure that each child is provided with a trained CASA volunteer. This is only a limited example of the types of CASA for Kids grants that are distributed throughout the year.

ALL CONTRIBUTIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTABLE AND MAY QUALIFY FOR A TAX CREDIT!

Arizona Legislature Raises the Qualifying Charitable and Qualifying Foster Tax Credits for 2016!!

The Arizona legislature has amended ARS 43-1088 to increase the tax credits a taxpayer can claim for contributions to qualifying charitable organizations and for contributions to qualifying foster care charitable organizations for taxable years beginning 2016. The new Arizona credit amounts beginning in 2016 is $500 for individuals and $1,000 for married couples filing jointly.

In addition, the Foster Care tax credit has been separated from the Charitable tax credit in 2016 so taxpayers may claim either credit or both in the same taxable year.

Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation has long qualified as a Charitable Organization for a tax credit but we are the first organization in Yavapai County to be designated a Qualifying Foster Care Charitable Organization under Arizona law (A.R.S. 43-1088.B.)

The tax credit is available even if the taxpayer does not itemize deductions in the taxable year. If you have questions, call your accountant or check out the Arizona Department of Revenue website at http://www.azdor.gov/TaxCredits.aspx

WE WELCOME YOUR DONATION!
